Polyp / Yupo Table

The Polyp / Yupo Table Lamps explore organic expansion and irregularity in lighting, drawing inspiration from fruiting forms like apples, pears, and lemons. Echoing Akari Lamps, they soften built environments with playful, glowing silhouettes.

Signature tabbed inserts create a light-shadow interplay, becoming both structure and ornament. Flat-packed and assembled without hardware or glue, each lamp is generated from a custom parametric system, allowing for diverse forms through flexible connection geometry and a shared standard socket base. The result is a luminous, otherworldly object, part botanical, part digital, floating between nature, fantasy, and futuristic design.
